Klaus Dinger was a German musician and songwriter most famous for his contributions to the seminal Krautrock outfit, Neu!, and his invention of the Motorik
beat. Less known is that he was the former percussionist and founding
member of Kraftwerk. The influential drummer died of heart failure on March 20, and his burial took place amongst a private circle of family and friends, according to a statement released by Neu!’s record label Gronland. Rest in Peace!
