Lat week saw The Verve’s forthcoming new single Love Is Noise receiving
its world exclusive first play on Radio One. If you missed it you can
hear it now online via the bands official myspace page. You will be also able to download an exclusive new Verve track for free
from midday on Monday 30th June. Titled Mover, this track will not
appear on the band’s forthcoming new album, and will only be available
from the official Verve website – theverve.tv.
The download will only be available for one week.

Cruel Black Dove blends varied inspiration — a penchant for crisp production and heavy sounds, a love for dramatic vocals and intense performances, an art school obsession with the swagger and pomp of glam rock, and a passion for pounding acoustic drums mixed with electronic percussion. The result is a luxurious sound rich with dark energy and drive. Full Powers is Cruel Black Dove’s self-released debut.

After a quick eleven-day hiatus following their blistering tour of
North America, R.E.M. will return to action in Amsterdam on July 2nd.
The band will play 46 dates from early July to October in a total of 22
countries. The following dates have been added to the tour with support
coming from Brooklyn’s We Are Scientists. Stay tuned early next week
