Mobile recording with your iPod

Alesis now has an offer: record your favourite performance in pro quality with your iPod. Their small black shoe is ProTrack, a device that accepts 5th generation iPods to record audio on them. It has two built-in microphones, and two professional mic/line level inputs (XLR type) that are capable of putting enough quality onto the disk. A good LED metering device and a limiter circuit at the input stage care for your recording level – overloading is almost impossible even with the loudest music on Earth. Only if you want it…
