Carla Bruni: Sailors, heroin and silky caresses

Carla Bruni aka Mrs Sarkozy is the First Lady of France, just in case you didn’t know. She was a songwriter and musician before she became First Lady. She has a new album out. Hmm. We can’t say anything about it because we only care about her naked photos, but thank god Jon Henley from the Guardian listened it already. He says – The new album from the French first lady contains many surprises, not all of them pleasant – and he continues – The hardest part about listening to Carla Bruni’s new album is somehow erasing from your memory that woman in the demure, dove-grey Dior coat, flat shoes and little black hat who had us all swooning back in March. You know, the one who dropped such a beautiful curtsey before the Queen, and allowed a starstruck Prince Charles to bend and kiss her hand. France’s new first lady, Madame Carla Bruni-Sarkozy.
When she sings, in Je Suis une Enfant, that she remains a little girl "despite my 40 years, despite my 30 lovers", for instance, that doesn’t exactly sound what you might call presidential. Nor, you might say, in Ta Tienne, do the lines: "Let them curse me, I don’t give a damn/ I who made men dance – I give myself to you, entirely." – [read more @ Guardian]
