Pum Pum is the first single from Lee Perry‘s upcoming album REPENTANCE, it will be his 54th (!!!!) studio album. It’s gonna be very different from its 53 predecessors.
Co-produced by human dynamo Andrew WK, Repentance finds a little room in its grooves for guest spots from Lightning Bolt’s Brian Chippendale, Blondie’s Chris Stein, Moby, Gumball’s Don Fleming, Current 93′s David Tibet, Matisyahu bassist Josh Werner, and artist/adult entertainer Sasha Grey. It’s due August 19 on CD and limited edition 2xLP from Narnack Records, with the vinyl bolstered by an extended take on "Pum-Pum".
Repentance marks the first release as part of Narnack’s new distribution deal with Lionsgate.
