El Perro del Mar sounds mediterranean both in name and music, but she is from Sweden! :-o :D El Perro del Mar was founded in the end of 2003 around the idea and
need of making music on terms of one’s own. Behind the alter-ego is the
sole member Sarah Assbring. Her new From the Valley to the Stars album was released in Scandinavia in February
2008 by the Swedish label Licking Fingers. The U.S release happened in
late April and in UK and Europe in the middle of May. On June 7th the
album was released in Australia as well as in New Zealand by the
label Inertia/Rogue Records. This might be the sweetest single from the album.
