Babelrap ‘s concept is to collect rap, hip-hop music from all around the world, in every possible language. This is a really interesting challenge because many languages can be better for rapping than English. Visit them and get lost in their archives! Currently there are having Russian Language Days .
This is definitely one to listen to. The Arabic rhymes I heard (which I have no clue what they mean – but hey ho) are really tight and sound as good if not better than anything in English. It makes you realise just how worldwide a phenomenon hip-hop is.
