Headline DJ, Paul Oakenfold, recently commissioned Litestructures, in association with partners Pioneer and Anolis, to design and build a special touring DJ console. He was so pleased with the results that he agreed to a pre-tour test-drive of the final rig on the Litestructures stand at this year’s PLASA show, before heading off to Wembley, where he began a heavy touring schedule with support action for the Madonna concert on 11th. September. The PLASA show’s origins were rooted in DJ and discotheque equipment, and it was therefore particularly fitting that Paul should perform as part of Litestructures’ 25th anniversary celebrations, highlighted at the show.

Paul Oakenfold comments: "My future global touring schedule will
include more and more large stadium shows, both with Madonna and my own
Perfecto events. It made sense to custom design my own console for such
high profile appearances. More importantly a console that is easily
transported, can be adapted and expanded for any specific reason or
occasion, and is visually appealing. I have been very impressed with
the level of professional support and advice received from
Litestructures/Pioneer/Anolis Lighting team, and I am delighted with
the beautiful piece of staging technology that has been produced."
