In Strømmer, Norway they have a different kind of lighting system in a pedestrian subway – 27 metres squared of LEDs that react to movement! The Dobpler Interactive Led System gives "maximum energy efficiency [and is] robust and less demanding in regards of maintenance, costs etc. It’s a[n] artistic experience of play and fun into the public space, with the bonus of creating ‘a safe space’." The video (below) shows just how cool it is in action.
