If you’re only 10 % the fan I am of jaunty catchy electro, you’ll love this. Zeigeist is an electropop band from Gothenburg, Sweden, who are quite often compared to their countrymen The Knife . Both pay a lot of attention to style and elaborate artistic performances – and create glorius electro. One way of distinguishing them would be the fact that Zeigeist are a bit more cheeful and not remotely as dark as The Knife (Silent shout, anyone?).
They released their debut album – "The Jade Motel" – earlier this year
and are only waiting for world domination to knock on their door. At
least if you ask me. I could’ve practically chosen any track of the
album, but in the end I decided to start from the top and go with
"Bunny", their debut single. (Plenty of time to post some more Zeigeist
in the near future) Here it is; think: Depeche Mode’s "Just can’t get
enough". At least in the chorus…
