This was going to be a post about another possible “track of the year” and the Italian legend Alexander Robotnick’s remix of Little Boots’ “Stuck on repeat” (which is brilliant, btw). I actually wrote a lengthy declaration of love for both when I realised we posted the track already, last week…
Since I felt kinda all dressed up and nowhere to go, I decided to post his hard-to-get classic original version of “Problèmes d’amour” from the early 80s for you kids instead. As a kind of electro 101.
Those of you familiar with his work will recognise his trademark style; brilliant sparse 80s infused electro with an Italian touch – Italo Disco, if you like. Those of you unfamiliar with him, well, it’s about bloody time you found out.
