Seems as if the Swedes put something special in their breakfast cereals. At least judging by the frequency they produce magnificent female music acts. The most recent one is a bit special indeed. Unlike her contemporary Swedish fellow artists like Lykke Li, Hello Saferide, et al., Adiam Dymott heads for far rockier pastures. And Holy Mother of God does she rock!
Possibly her circle of friends have inspired her a bit. Playing with her in the band are such diverse Swedish hard-hitters as Thomas Rusiak, Harri Mänty (ex-KENT), David Lindh and Fredrik Okazaki (I ARE DROID).
"Miss you" is the first single from Adiam Dymott´s debut album (produced by Thomas Rusiak) which is due for release March 18. The song was performed for the first time live at the Swedish National Radio's (SR) prestigious award P3 Guld 2009 a few weeks back. A stunning rock banger and nothing short of brilliant. Remember where you read it first.
