More Sweden! John ME 's real name is Mattias Edlund. It might not mean that much to you, but possibly you've heard of a Swedish synth/electro pop band called The Motorhomes. No? Anyway, Mattias used to front them.
The past few years he's been slumming it, working average jobs, like the rest of us. Until recently, when he decided to make a comeback – solo, this time, as John ME (not meh…).
Helping him out on his debut solo album, we find quite a few Swedish pop notorieties. Joakim Berg of Kent, Andreas Mattsson of Popsicle, and Pär Wiksten of Wannadies, just to name a few.
The first single was premiered on the Swedish National Radio Awards – P3 Guld. A brilliant, electrofied, big drama pop tune called "Love is my drug". Check it out.
