Pet Shop Boys – Love etc. [stream AudioPorn FM]
What a way to start a new week here on APC! Pet Shop Boys
are back! The new album Yes is due later this year (end of March) and it'll see the boys rub shoulders with good ol' Johnny Marr himself, who apparently co-wrote several of the tunes on the new album.
Today, the new single, Love etc. is aired exclusively (well…) on
the BBC's Ken Bruce Show. It's produced by Xenomania's Brian Higgins,
who previously has worked with Girls aloud, Kylie, Sophie Ellis-Bextor
and the like. I don't know if that's a good thing, but the single's
pretty much the Pet Shop Boys we've grown accustomed to. However, as
usual I'm looking forward to the remixes.
Love etc. is released
on March 16, with remixes by Gui Boratto, Pet Shop Boys, Kurd Maverick
and FrankMusik. This cat's esepecially looking forward to Kurd's take
on it.
