team9 sayz: – Just when you think you’ve used every classic track for a mash up, along come two that fit together so nicely its hard to separate them – for me at least. Discovering that these two tracks worked together is what keeps me making these ridiculous mash up things. The coolest bands of their time, for totally different reasons, seem to work so well in the mix they were almost made for each other. Simon’s Audioporn Central is even more of a reason to keep things going. A beacon in the ever expanding world of music blogs, Audioporn shows the kids how it should be done. Intuitive layout, great design and, most importantly, diverse and interesting content – APC covers all bases for music lovers. It vanished for a while and the net was a worse place for it. The highlight from the last two years was when it returned with a vengeance. Look forward to many more years….. -

Thanks for drawing me in for the mashups and underground remixes… I’ve left every time with leads on new artists, new labels and new singles I wouldn’t have found without you. YACHT is a hypnotizing band from my city of Portland, Oregon, and the first band on the West Coast to be signed to DFA Records. The gained a lot of visibility by touring with LCD Soundsystem, but I first caught their new single “Psychic City” thanks to APC. So, my gift to you is a simple but unique remix of it made specifically for you. Thanks for the leads on new music. -
