Local Natives is a five-piece indie rock band from southern California. They’re just about to release their debut album, Gorilla Manor. If you’re into bands like Grizzly Bear, Fleet Foxes and Arcade Fire, I’m pretty sure you’ll dig this.
Their bio on Last.fm actually describes them as “If Arcade Fire were more interested in visiting the beach than reaching for heaven they’d probably sound a lot like Local Natives”. Spot on.
