Imagine if Michael Stipe moved to London and started a folk band. Not bloody likely, eh? Still, that was the first impression I got when I heard Mumford & Sons the first time.
Part of the new folksy London scene alongside the likes of Laura Marling, Johnny Flynn, and Noah and the Whale, Mumford & Sons released their debut album, Sigh No More, last week to great critical acclaim. Here’s one of my faves of the album, The Cave.
