I think the band i would be most excited about seeing is Jamie Lidell – still one of the most talented singers and performers around – able to go from Stevie Wonderesque soul to beatbox electronica with absolute ease.

Why isn’t this guy bigger than he is?

  2. KoolBean says:

For me it has to be Jigga Man!!! But Chase n Status…and…Chiddy Bang = Awesome-o ^___^

  4. Recardo says:

Plan-B on the Pepsi Max stage [Tweeted this post using AddToAny], so hopefully that triples my chances!

2manydjs, no doubt about that! Please let me win.. I’m already in London and wanted to go so bad! :D

The artist that i am most excited about that is on this years Wireless Festival Line up has to be *drumroll* J. COLE!

    J. Cole is Jay Z’s protege, and if he is hitting the stage in Hyde Park on Sunday, it would be such a good look for him in terms of international promo.

I think J. Cole is definitely one of the most underrated rappers in the industry at the moment. Many people compare him to Drake (who, by the way pulled out of the festival line up.) But, i think his lyrical content and his flow is much better than Drake.

I don’t think he is very well known in this country, and he has only just started to get recognized for his work in America. Therefore, as everyone was really looking to see Drake perform, i think they will be left pleasantly surprised and satisfied at J.Cole’s performance as he is just as good as Drake, if not better.

Who knows… with the thousands of people that attend the Wireless Festival, this may give J.Cole a chance to really break into the UK market?

I have his mixtapes on repeat and would honestly love the chance to see him perform his songs live amongst such a great atmosphere in Hyde Park. If Jay Z (the headlining act) brings J.Cole onto the main stage to rap his verse on Jay’s fantastic song of the Blueprint 3 album, “A star is born,” that is bound to be the highlight for many.

I am also excited for Jay Z’s performance, you never know what he is going to do, or who he is going to bring on stage! Who knows, maybe Beyonce will be there? Or, even Alicia Keys for the classing song, “Empire State of Mind?”

    iLove Roc Nation!

Temper Trap – Friday. Jamie Lidell/DJ Shadow – Saturday. Jay-Z – Sunday. Spoilt for choice.

  12. Philippe says:

    LCD Soundsystem!

  13. Jeppe Lamm says:

    2manydjs would be my favorites.

  14. Claus S says:

Snoop Doggggggggggg thank you very much. He needs some love from Europe now he has been banned in Holland :D

  15. Bizu Yaregal says:

Jay-Z because he is, to quote himself the ‘best the rapper alive’

  16. Simply_Me says:

    Snoop Dogg!

I have heard great reviews about Snoop from Glastonbury, so can’t wait to catch him in one of his “come back” UK performances.

And I’m sure he will put on a show, because after being barred from this country, it’s something that he really needs to do!

He’s got some fab songs… and i love his reality TV show!

  17. Free007 says:

Can’t wait to see Missy E! Hasn’t been to the UK in a while, so looking forward to hearing old school tunes!

  18. sharna says:

slash, snoop, missy eliot, dan le sac.. wowow

LCD soundsystem were awful. I’m glad he’s quitting. He made the crowd feel very uncomfortable, and told us off like we were naughty children. The 30 minute gaps between artists ruined the atmosphere. LCD soundsystem droned on after an amazing performance by 2ManyDjs. There were sound complications. Missy Elliot’s set was cut short even though we still had to wait before Snoop Dogg came out. Snoop was great as expected but he and 2ManyDjs’ perfomances just weren’t enough to make up for how bad Wireless festival was
