so let’s see the TOP 10’s
first the official chart
and than the personal charts of the APC Family members
ah! the mighty Scottish piper, Dunproofin’ just joined the charting team :)
#01 Robyn – Don’t Fucking Tell Me What To Do
(Mylo & Sharooz Mix) [link]
this was the most popular song on APC this month, plus we had many other Robyn related things, so July was Robyn’s month for sure
#02 MGMT – It’s Working (Air Remix) [link]
the surprise of the month
#03 DJ Schmolli – Dancing On My Own All Night Long [link]
even Robyn herself tweeted about this
#04 Martin Solveig & Dragonette – Hello (Smash Episode 1) [link]
the tennis match match of the century
#05 Dunproofin’ – All The Lovers Fade To Grey [link]
disco in year 3000
#06 Midnight Juggernauts – Michael’s Deadline [link]
one of the best songs of 2010
#07 Frail Limb Purity – Notorious B.I.G. VS 2pac [link]
a piece of hip hop history, ANTHEM
#08 Sunday Girl – Self Control (Azari & III remix) [link]
go Sunday Girl, go
#09 This Is Head – 0011 (Kasper Björke version) [link]
kraut-pop minimal disco brilliance

after all those troubles, our friend is back with a sad love song
and now check out the personal charts of the APC Family members
Copycat’s Top 10
#01 Black Rebel Motorcycle Club – Dirty Old Town (The Pogues cover) [link]
F**k me, this is lovely. I think I got something in my eye…
#02 The Chemical Brothers – Swoon (Lindstrøm & Prins Thomas Remix) [link]
The Norwegians know their disco shit. Best Swoon remix out there!
#03 Rigas den Andre – W.A.S.P. (What’s Your Poison?) (R2 Remix) [link]
Soft laidback and semi-funky electro disco. Very cool.
#04 Tennis – South Carolina [link]
Retro pop bliss. Fetch!
#05 MGMT – It’s Working (Air Remix) [link]
Loved the original that was in my June chart. Worshipping this…
#06 Aeroplane – I Crave Paris [link]
Aeroplane is dead. Long live Aeroplane! Perfect summer mash!
#07 Midnight Juggernauts – Michael’s Deadline [link]
Very unexpected move from the Juggernauts. Very bold. Very good.
#08 The Knocks – Make It Better [link]
Just whistle, and I’m in. Lovely laidback summer pop!
#09 Korallreven – The Truest Faith (CFCF Remix) [link]
Just outside my list last month. Deffo in now with this wunderschön remix.
#10 The Aikiu – Just Can’t Sleep [link]
Dark, sordid, twisted disco with a 70s twist. Luuurve it!
Dunproofin’s TOP 10
#01 The muppets – Popcorn [link]
How can the Muppets not be the first choice this month ? Comedy gold for children of all ages.
#02 Beardyman & Dolby – Dolbyman [link]
It may be a promotional video, but if it’s this stylish who cares. Beardyman surely on the brink of major chart success if this form continues
#03 Moby’s Old School Mix [link]
Nice One, Top One, Sorted. As nobody said back in the day … but an excellent mix nonetheless.
#04 Pheugoo – Hometown Bitch [link]
Pheugoo is one clever bastard. This shouldn’t work.
#5 Martin Solveig & Dragonette – Hello (Smash Episode 1) [link]
More for the video than than the song. Dragonette seem to have lost their way, but perhaps Martin Solveig can put them back on court with this ace.
#6 Sunday Girl – Self Control (Azari & III Remix) [link]
The original mix is still the one to go for, but a good remix complements the set. There’s an acapella kicking around for any of you budding amateur remixers also.
#07 Robyn – Dancing On My Own (Copycat’s Sundrenched FM Remix) [link]
Copycat nearly brings home an Ibiza suncblissed anthem. Just a live band away from being a classic.
#08 DJ Schmolli – Dancing On My Own All Night Long [link]
Whilst Robyn herself tweets away Schmolli’s rock mashup.
#09 Klaxons – Echoes [link]
A video from the 80’s, a band from the 00’s and a promising new album on its way in the 10’s judging by the sounds here.
#10 Skream – Listenin’ To The Records On My Wall [link]
Skream goes a little more breakbeat than expected perhaps, but with dubstep’s onward march towards ubiquity, this is not necessarly a bad thing.
#11 Dunproofin’ – All The Lovers Fade To Grey [link]
Posted without comment.
Phil Retrospector’s TOP 10
#01 iamamiwhoami – t [link]
Okay, so maybe it’s replaced the cling-film with tin-foil, but it’s still freakin’ genius.
#02 O.Children– album preview [link]
If you Dig Lazarus Dig!!, you’ll dig the the Dead Disco Dancer, album drops in the Fall,
#03 This Is Head – 0011 (Kasper Björke version [link]
Minimal toe-tapping punkstep
#04 MUNK – Down in L.A. (Them Jeans remix) [link]
It’s a grower, but definitely worth the effort…
