day two of Airwaves? in one word: WILD

first I was on a networking meeting with Icelandic musicians
it was a very intense and fun event
I was attacked by 50+ artists
got a huge pack of CDs, gave away tons of business cards
got quite few promising stuff
and I will keep my finger on the Icelandic music scene for sure

my main mission was to see Dominique Young Unique‘s show
I got there early so I saw few other bands too
Original Melody was great, funky party hip-hop, wicked vibes

Dominique simply killed it, destroyed the house, blow us away
her show was wild, full of heavy beats and even heavier rhymes
the best gig what I’ve seen on Airwaves os far!

after that I just popped in the Art Museum
which is the biggest and the main festival venue
and within a minute I’ve stumbled into Hogni from Hjaltalin
we’ve met and hanged out together in Budapest a year ago
they even came to the very first MashupCentral party
so it was great to see him again
later on he introduced me to Gisli Galdur
a great DJ/producer who made this brilliant ‘n supertrippy remix for them
it’s an epic 12 minutes journey, make sure to turn it loud!

at the Art Museum I saw Moderat
their ‘Kraftwerk on acid’ sound just washed me away, and cleaned my mind
the Art Museum is an amazing location
simply a brilliant idea to make concerts there

after that we went to a really sweet and cosy afterparty
but sadly this is the end of the public report, sorry ;)
