The electro-funkiest pairing on the planet Chromeo are breaking records with their new record, Drive Time. Touted as the world’s smallest album, it clocks in at 183 seconds, shattering the previous record by an eternity. Inspiration for this concept album came from Chromeo’s desire to pinpoint and extract the soul of their music. “People make such a big deal about the White Album because it was so long,” explains Dave 1. “We just went to the essence.” The result is a microcosm of Chromeo’s signature sound.
