Kanye West wants to be Ghostpoet
and used Hungarian Omega’s megahit from 1969

Okay, you know us, we don’t really care about Mr West’s activity, but this is something different.
Yes, he has a new single.
As usual, we leave the hype to all the other blogs, we just wanna point out one little but really important detail: the best part of New Slaves (from 02:39, please don’t mind the OOK “vocals”) is a the megahit of the Hungarian superband Omega, the original is called Girl with pearly hair and it can be found on their 10 0000 steps album from 1969, and it scored the best song title at Yamaha Festival in Tokyo (1970). The song was covered already by Scorpions in 1995, called White Dove.
You know, giving credit is important, even if a gigastar samples trying to sing over a well known Eastern-European song. None of the other international sites cleared this, so we did.
