at midnight. Sit back and buckle up for a fly around the earth and let
the Chems supply the soundtrack. The project is still very much alive, so if you want to take part

The Technicolor coat-wearing popsters are to record their next psychedelic opus with a little help from some Chemicals. It’s a correspondence made in a swirly, rose-tinted heaven. MGMT have been swapping emails with the Chemical Brothers and the latter may now produce MGMT’s second album.
Shed your LOLs – the two duos got together after the Chemical Brothers heard Oracular Spectacular, MGMT’s debut album, and loved it. The big-time big-beat producers fired off an email – received with great enthusiasm by the big T-shirted hipsters in Brooklyn.

To celebrate the forthcoming greatest-hits collection Brotherhood, out September 2 from Astralwerks, the Brothers are asking YOU to create two to 20 seconds of video inspired
by your favorite Chemical Brothers’ tracks, then upload and tag the goods to Google Earth by August 25. Here is what the Chem Bros had to say about this massive project: – Make your own short clip (from 2 to 20 seconds) or photograph about your favourite Chemical Brothers track. Then upload your work here on to the Google Map (after the jump) and tag it to it’s exact global location.
A selection of the best work will be featured in a new concept music video for the Chemical Brothers, To celebrate the launch of the new Chemical Brothers’ album ‘Brotherhood’ videos will feature on a Google Earth channel available on September 1, as well as on the Chemical Brothers Youtube channel.
