This is the end of a looong week, let's celebrate! We invite you for a concert in Berlin. This is one of our fave concert videos ever and if you are a real AudioPorn Freak it will fill you up with a lotta positive NRG.

Berlin's legendary club Weekend
is located in a skyscraper off Alexanderplatz and opens its terrace
during the summer. Regulars to the club specially love the early hours
when dancing outside to enjoy the sun rising above Berlins roofs. It
offers a fantastic view over the city combined with the latest popluar
electronic tunes.

The Weekend planned regular open air live
concerts on the large terrace on the 15th floor and wanted to kick off
this series with up and coming electro trio Bodi Bill,
one of Berlin's darlings. Right after that first performance, Berlin's
city officials decided to prohibit all future concerts so we guess it's
safe to say that this is a one-time thing and will remain unique. Word
on the streets is that this is the concert of the year to a lot of
Berliners that attended it live.

The End has announced that the club will be closing those legendary metal doors for good in January 2009. The End & AKA will be closing in style, giving the venues the send off they deserve, and the chance for the different DJs and nights to say goodbye. They will be open as normal through autumn, with September, October and November’s parties rocking as usual. The farewell begins with The End’s 13th birthday on December 6th, with long-time favourite Sven Vath headlining. There will follow a series of closing parties featuring The End’s closest DJs and promoters, and then a grand closing weekend on January 23rd and 24th. Here is an interview with The End’s directors, Layo and Zoe Paskin   about the end of The End.

These Australian guys conducted an experiment and videotaped it: Can you beat the lines at a club and get in by wearing a record bag and pretending to be a DJ?
Guy 1: Alright AJ, it’s been a long night but we’ve proven some truths about the record bag. What are they?
Guy 2: I’ve proven I can get into any club I like, skip any queue, pay no cover charges, go up to the DJ and pretty much take over their job.

This Spring 2008, America will witness the legacy that is Sasha and John Digweed as they launch their Sasha and John Digweed Spring Club Tour 2008 at the Winter Music Conference on Thursday, March 27th at Mansion. This is the first time that Sasha and John Digweed are touring North America extensively in six years taking them thru 21 cities landing at Coachella on Saturday April 26th where the duo will be headlining the Dance tent which may look something like the one in the video right after the jump ;)
