Johnny Dark split Junior Boys before their debut album was released to
wide acclaim. So it’s entirely forgivable that Stereo Image, his new
group with synth-popper San Serac, bears a strong resemblance to Last Exit -era
Junior Boys while maintaining its own identity. While the JBs have
trended towards smooth and emotionally drippy pop tunes, Stereo Image
leaves their edges jagged and incorporate an enigmatic, sunglasses at
night mood. Still, the two groups are friendly rivals as evinced by the
inclusion of Stereo Image’s Dark Chapter on Junior Boys’ Body
Language Vol. 6 mix.

Don’t get fooled by his guitar hero pose, this track is massive pure electronica, following the footsteps of Aphex Twin and the Massive Attack. We hear a lot from this guy in the future!!! German Electronica grandmaster Ulrich Schnauss is expected to start a joint project with Jerome Froese, son of the electronic music veteran Edgar Froese from Tangerine Dream. Jerome itself was the smart music creator of his father’s band for more than a decade and now plays alone his guitar-electronica mix. The relation is not new between them: Ulrich started his career on Jerome’s first solo disc with two tracks, years before his first big hit Little 15, a remix for Depeche Mode. Jerome’s new website now mentions a new project called For US, which is still on hold now, but we expect the very best.
