Imagine Duffy downing a bottle of… erm… Gin and trying to impersonate Amy Winehouse. Weird? Maybe, but that’s exactly what New Zealand singer/songwriter Virginia Wigmore – or Gin – reminds me of. And mind you, that’s not half bad in my book.
Gin’s new album, Holy Smoke, is just released – and the album name is rather apt, I must say. It’s a terrific little piece of 60s tinged pop music. Here’s one of my favorites from it. Hope you like.
