Fashion show for Legophils
Now electro-flash French designer, J.C. de Castelbajac , has created a LEGO-inspired Spring 09 collection. But it seems that LEGO has decided to strike back! A video popped up recently with a virtual runway show of the collection using tiny models in even tinnier J.C. de Castelbajac pieces. Even sunglass-wearing fashion critics are present, clapping and snapping photos of the make-believe scene. [read more @ FADER]
We love LEGO art here on APC, so we are happy to present you the Format Magazine's brilliant compilation of 20 Classic Hip Hop Album Covers Recreated in LEGO. Wicked!

Madonna, Amy Winehouse and Sir Cliff Richard portrayed in a special edition of Lego mini-figures.
Other celebrities include Posh and Becks, Angelina, Brad and their twins, the X Factor judges and, bizarrely, Alan Titchmarsh.
Sadly for their fans, the Lego stars will not be available to the public as they have been created purely to celebrate the 30th anniversary of mini-figures, of which more than 4billion have been churned out by the moulding machines.
The first ones had yellow faces with happy or neutral expressions. But over the years they have become more sophisticated and assumed many roles including policeman, builder, nurse and football players.
More recently a Darth Vader mini-figure featured in Lego Star Wars play sets.
Marko Ilincic, managing director of Lego UK, said: ‘We had no idea it would become such an icon.’ [via Mail Online]
