Listening to fresh music is one way to get your kicks but flying at speeds of 100mph hugging a cliff is another thing entirely! JT Holmes, who in 2007 was part of a team that did the first Ski BASE jump off a casino, does exactly that by hurling himself off some huge Norwegian cliffs! Wow!
Some of you might remember Norwegian singer/songwriter Marit Larsen from the fairly succesful duo M2M (together with Marion Raven) who scored a major hit worldwide with Don’t Say You Love Me .
A couple of years ago she re-surfaced with a solo album, aptly called Under the surface. Now she’s back with a new one, The Chase.
In Strømmer, Norway they have a different kind of lighting system in a pedestrian subway – 27 metres squared of LEDs that react to movement! The Dobpler Interactive Led System gives "maximum energy efficiency [and is] robust and less demanding in regards of maintenance, costs etc. It’s a[n] artistic experience of play and fun into the public space, with the bonus of creating ‘a safe space’." The video (below) shows just how cool it is in action.
Telemegaphone Dale stands seven metres tall on top of the Bergskletten mountain overlooking the idyllic Dalsfjord in Western Norway.
When you dial the Telemegaphone’s phone number the sound of your voice is projected out across the fjord, the valley and the village of Dale below. No answer? Telemegaphone Dale is wind powered and self-reliant. Recently however, the weather has been exceptionally calm in Dale and there has been a massive amount of people calling.
