In these days of Oasis very unfortunate comeback album, I thought I’d try to draw your attention to another band extremely down with John, Paul, George and whatshisface – but with an entirely different approach. And subsequently an entirely different outcome.

So we had some electro mania here for a while. Whaddya say we go to the other end of the scale and get a bit rootsy? From Cleveland, Ohio, come the Bears, a sweet little pop band in love with harmonies, 60s jangly pop and the Beach Boys.
Here’s the bittersweet, touching and simply irresistable "Please don’t", the opening track from their new, just released sophomore album "Simply machinery" (which is brilliant, btw). It’s definitely a tune you hope to find in your iPod when the cruel autumn winds start to get nasty.

Party Ben has a new one!! As he says: -… it’s not really a mashup per se although it does use stuff from a bunch of other songs. Mostly it’s just a funky minimal wobbly-bass kind of track, a little less frenetic than your typical fidget house but hopefully fun for dance floor party times.- The track can be found on Call In Sick’s myspace. The best thing about running APC is to get new music first, spread the world about hot stuffs of good friends, great artists. We did many many times in the past and I bet we will do it even more in the future. Like now. Here is the new APC fave band, the CHEW LiPS. They are so new, so hot so kool that we became fans immediately. We got two demo tracks, both are extremely promising, both has huge potential. If you need namedropping, then think about New Order and Ting Tings, or Glass Candy and Ladytron. Both songs are on repeat here at the APC HQ and we simply can’t get enuff of them. Our fave is the Salt Air, which easily can be the next huge electro pop hit! The CHEW LiPS iz the new sh!t boys and girls, we will get back with more LiPS in the near future, till then turn this really really loud, let your neighbors feel the vibe ;)
