Junior Boys – Hazel

Begone Dull Care, the remarkable new album from the duo of Jeremy Greenspan and Matthew Didemus, known as Junior Boys, is set for a UK release on 11th May 2009. The album will be preceded by a single, Hazel on 20th April. But the guys at Motormouthmedia are so kool, look they sent this little gift for you dear AudioPornographers. Hazel will be available to buy online on March 3rd. Oh, and you can download it for free if you preorder the Begone Dull Care album on iTunes. Meanwhile listen it here on APC, turn it really LOUD. The boys are deffo back in town.

It's taken Axl Rose (and a host of accompanying musicians) 19 years to come up with new material and many said it would never see the light of day but Guns'n Roses new album Chinese Democracy is finally out on Monday, is being streamed in it's entirety on their myspace page. On first listen, although not sounding dated, it's a bit hit and miss – there are some really, really good bits and Prostitute (which I heard online before) is an absolute classic, but there's a just a few too many ideas crammed in, often within the same song (great for a mashup), so it seems a bit all over the place. But it was just a first listen so maybe it will grow on me, there's certainly enough in there to warrant more listens. Was it worth the long, long wait? Make up your own mind and check it out and let us know what you think.
