The submission period for our Giorgio Moroder remix contest in close collaboration with MB Disco is now closed. We’d like to thank every producer who joined this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to remix one of the true pioneers of electronic music.

AudioPorn Central and MB Disco proudly announce the remix contest of the year. Heck, the remix contest of the decade! Here’s your chance to remix legend Giorgio Moroder’s classic E=MC2. What’s more – a jury with representatives from AudioPorn Central and the MB Disco label will pick one winner – and put them on the APC Connection digital release early next year! Two runners-up will get a nice little MB Disco vinyl pack as well.

All you have to do is grab the stems over here and get going. Once you’re finished, we’d like you to drop your remix to us in our DropBox over at SoundCloud. We need your submissions no later than January 7. The winner will be announced by the end of January 2012.

and the APC All Stars mashed their entire Mashpop and Punkstep LP

now we decided to make the MASHED POPPED PUNKED VOL2
and it’s your chance to mash and remix the Punx

The Young Punx have made the entire remix parts for the whole album publicly available for anyone to remix. So Volume 2 is open to everyone to work on!

How to enter?
Grab the stems from this link. Make your own remix or mash up of any track on the album. Submit your remix to the MofoHifi Record’s dropbox. The winning tracks will made into an online APC album – Mashed Popped Punked Volume 2. The top remix (not mashup) will be released by MofoHifi Record with the remixer getting 50% of the artist share of any sales revenue, plus we will send Mashed Popped Punked T-shirts for each of the winners. Any remix or mashup made from the parts (that wasn’t on Vol 1) is acceptable – so people who have done mixes in the past few months can still enter.

The deadline is 30th of April.
