Larry Knechtel,  keyboard player extroardinaire has gone to the great gig in the sky. He performed and recorded for nearly half a century with a who’s who of Rock ‘n Roll, including Elvis Presley, Beach Boys,The Doors, Simon & Garfunkel & his group Bread. Here he is in 1997 tinkling for Elvis Costello.

Today is a bad day. I'm heartbroken. Bettie Page , the most gorgeous
pin-up girl in photographic history, and the embodiment of all things beautiful IMO died yesterday in Los Angeles from pneumonia.
She was 85.
