Seems as if the Swedes put something special in their breakfast cereals. At least judging by the frequency they produce magnificent female music acts. The most recent one is a bit special indeed. Unlike her contemporary Swedish fellow artists like Lykke Li, Hello Saferide, et al., Adiam Dymott heads for far rockier pastures. And Holy Mother of God does she rock!
They may look like Slipknot with the masks but Hollywood Undead are much tamer rap/rock hybrid that somehow passed me by before despite being massive on myspace in the US.This is rock/rap at it's most stupid and fun – think Anthrax doing their raps (without Chuck D) and you're halfway there. So as a bit of a catch up I've posted two of their videos since they are due to tour Europe next month. Okay on second thoughts I've posted one of the videos because it's a return to the days of rock video's with cheap masks, swearing and scantily clad ladies. At least one of those counts as audiopornography!?
