Yeah, the moment what we and many of you been waiting for is here. The official SoundCloud Android app lets you easily access, browse and listen to the sounds shared to you while you’re on the road and away from your computer. The app also includes recording functionality that lets you capture any sound around you and instantly save it in the ‘Cloud. Stay tuned, plenty more to come too.

We clearly remember the day when we first posted about SoundCloud. It was in June 2008, feels like yesterday. Since then ‘the great new startup’ became one of the major players of the net, they got big, there are a lot of new tools, even an official iPhone app. We are hoping for an official Android client too, but after a little search in the SoundCloud Tools’ section we found two apps.

Soundroid 2.0 seems to be more complex, it allows you to upload, edit, delete, listen and share yours tracks from your Soundcloud account using your Android device.

SoundCloud Droid seems to be a bit more stripped down, it’s focusing on uploading files from the Android device to SoundCloud.

They are not official apps, but might worth to try them till the official one arrives.

Myna is available free at Aviary, yeah you’ve seen it right, it’s a browser-based audio editor. You can use it to remix music tracks and audio clips, apply sound effects and record your own voice or instrument. If you link it with your SoundCloud account, you will have a neat browser based workstation.

CitySounds.fm lets you listen to the latest music from cities around the world. The most active cities and the list is constantly changing as new music is being created. Tracks and city information is fetched from the SoundCloud API – updated in real time as new tracks roll into SoundCloud. Additionally, images for each city are fetched from Flickr. Really nice! Go and explore!!

so the whole procedure takes few minutes only

Mixcloud is a new site to share your mixtapes or find kool new ones. It is build on the SoundCloud

API, so you can share/and submit your mixes really easily. Really promising application!
