Stanton Uberstand and likes are probably the most useful tools for laptop DJ’s
it’s not a new product, but they deserve every support
this great article on djtechtools opened up my eyes
(make sure to read the comments as well)
I think to use a stand like this can solve my space problems in tight DJ booths
it holds a laptop plus a soundcard and makes room for your controller
it’s also super lightweight and folds flat to fit in an included 12″ zippered bag
the UberStand is an essential accessory for computer based DJs.

as we mentioned few days ago, the Stanton SCS.3m finally arrived
check the box in the middle
now we actualy arrived to the traditional DJ setup
but it’s all touch controlled
Stanton‘s DaScratch (aka SCS.3d) got a new buddy, the long awaited DaMix (called SCS.3m from now on) is here. The name is stupid, the toy itself looks promising. Skratchworx has a bit more details, but pretty much everybody is waiting for the MusicMesse to have more NFO.
One of the toys I'm dreaming about besides the EKS OTUS is the Stanton DaScratch. So I'm a sucker for every test and review. If you are into digital DJing like myself and you are looking for the right toysmake sure to check out the review on musicradar.com and this video by Gearwire’s Bill Holland.

Stanton ‘s For Life is a free pdf magazine. This new e-zine will be issued periodically to bring DJs interesting articles, all the latest Stanton gear, and even a special "city guide" that focuses on a different city each issue and highlights all their favorite spots. The first issue features the new SCS.3d controller, artist Richard Devine, an insider guide to Seattle, and more! Check it out!
Stanton has sent CDM some product shots and info ‘s of the new DaScratch touch controller. What we couldn’t see before is evident here: the fit and finish looks like it has some potential, and most of all, this device is really compact. [via CDM]
