so i guess its more like day two.. but ive already lost my voice!! and that little piece to my camera so i can upload the pictures.. but im confident ;-) i will find a way to get these amazing pics to you.. last night i saw kenan bell and this— 6 foot 5 black man –KENAN BELL–brought a house of frat boys down.. so he has got to be good. i followed that with ILLINOIS.. who at 2 am.. in the middle of a gibson guitar store and everyone rightly drunk had a good old fashioned dance party! this night was followed by a house party.. and plenty of green if u know what i mean..today i saw the HARLEM SHAKES who ROCKED.. and a film entitled ALL TOMORROWS PARTIES.. which was rad.. rad rad.. it follows the music festival that originated in the UK.. kinda like a commune of musicians. and is like one big music video with awesome bands curating each other..i am now on my way to see GRIZZLY BEAR in a church.. and then to the PLAYBOY PARTY to see KENAN BELL, CALVIN HARRIS, A SPECIAL SURPRSIE GUEST– I DONT KNOW WHO– A BIG BAND..! AND A TRAK DJ SET.. late night i suspect will be crazy.. i will take pics and i will put them up as soon as i find this little thing.. the day was balmy and beautiful..SEXY the night should prove to be the same.. stay up! i cant wait to see who the special performance will be at playboy!!!!

hiiii helllo hola i will be heading from nyc to austin, texas tomorrow for the annual music conference.. and keeping a very detailed down and dirty account of my travels… last year it was wicked crazy FOUR DAYS OF NONSTOP MUSIC PARTIES DRUGS SEX ROCK N ROLL.. so id stay tuned if i were you;-) the bands im most psyched to see are.. starting wednesday.. the features from Nashville, the morning benders from san fran, kenan bell from Cali..port o’brien, young galaxy and deer tick! DAY one. also verrrrry excited for the PLAYBOY PARTAY ON THURSDAY.. bunnies!!!! oh and… we will wait and see with much excitement and anticipation.. who will be the headliner at this playboy party.. kenan bell and calvin harris .. and ATrak.. and WHO ELSE?!! I DUNNNNO! let’s see.. patience.. patience.. and magic.

so my friends, in short, stay up and i’ll keep you on the up and up in the lone star state and the state of this bizness called music … rawwwwwwwwwk.

The South by Southwest is one of the premiere festivals in the world for discovering new bands, and its only few days away now. The whole music world and every music fan is getting SXSW crazy nowadays. What is the better way to feel the SXSW vibe if you can’t take part in the event, than listening music from 764 new bands that will be performing at the festival. Yes, you can do this easily, head over to Greg Hewill’s site and get his 3497 MB zip file (BitTorrent client required) containing all those band and songs. Greg is a hero! If you’d rather cherrypick MP3s than download the whole shebang, SXSW has the same MP3s posted on its site, but the Torrent link is a much easier way to go. Thanks, Greg!
