FM Belfast: Lotus
« Yamaha TENORI-ON Launch: Photos, Videos, Interviews, Demos and Details, and a Music Box | main | Rock stars more likely to die prematurely »The FM Belfast is the hottest band in Iceland ATM. They sound really reminds us of the Chromatics and the Glass Candy and the whole electro low-fi disco weirdness. Very very nice! Their track Lotus – a cover of Rage Against the Machine’s Killing in
the Name of – has become a pub anthem in the Icelandic capital. Possibly the RATM is the last band what comes to our mind if it is about disco electronica. Very cool. Check it out on video, performed live in Reykjavik. Visit the FM Belfast space and you can grab their latest song called Synthia.
A clip from Rafskinna
magazine launch party at Sirkus bar, Reykjavik. It’s 7 pm, the sun is
shining and people are having a good time. Very Icelandic. FM Belfast,
with their fresh sound perform their take on “Killing In The Name Of”
by Rage Against The Machine. Feels like a breath of fresh air.
