Giorgio Moroder – E=MC2 (Alexander Robotnick Remix)

The first remix from the stunning Italian Connection Moroder 12″ comes from legend Alexander Robotnick, (real name Maurizio Dami). You probably know his groundbreaking track from 1983 “Problèmes D’Amour”. A track that originally came out on Italian label Fuzz Dance and created a world-wide stir and still today is played by the heavy hitting dj names all over the world.

Robotnick continued his career during the ninetees with various projects and the past few years he’s been very active in the Nu-Disco scene. We had a quick chat with him:

- Ciao Maurizio – and congratulations on a great remix! Tell us, when did you first get in touch with a Moroder production?
My first experience of Moroder’s music was his biggest hit “I feel love”. At that time I was more interested in progressive rock and jazz. But that song really struck me.

- What’s your favorite Moroder song?
It’s “I feel love”, a classic!

- Which other Moroder song would you give your right arm to remix?
Lost in L.A.
